Certification by the Global Risk Foundation is a recognition of your professional development activities. It demonstrates what you have done and the capabilities you have acquired, thus enhancing your professional standing and your career prospects.
We provide two kinds of certificates for individuals: certificates of participation and certificates of attainment.
Certificate of Participation
A Certificate of Participation indicates that you have engaged actively in a professional training exercise. The certificate will usually state the hours that you may claim from your professional society for continuing professional development.
Certificate of Attainment
A Certificate of Attainment indicates that you have engaged actively in a professional training exercise, and it will usually state the hours that you may claim from your professional society for continuing professional development. In addition, it will state that you have successfully completed an assessment about what you have learned in the training, either with a formal test, a practical exercise or some other controlled evaluation process.
Requirements for Certification
To obtain a certificate from the Global Risk Foundation, you must have participated in a development activity delivered by us or by one of our approved training providers. We rely on our providers, the people with whom you undertake the training, to attest to your development activities and provide us with the details of the training or development you have undertaken, any associated tests and the professional development hours to which you are entitled. We confirm the details before we issue the certificates.
